The first business I built from scratch was a property investment and development group (I'm a serial - and concurrent! - entrepreneur), and a lot of early Entreprenoras are, or started as , women in property (horray!). In six years, my partner and I replaced both of our incomes, moved into our dream home on the Thames, had a wonderful daughter, and achieved the lifestyle we worked so hard to design.
It was a tough six years, though, and throughout the process of growing our property business, there were many times I wanted to give up, many times when I looked around and felt like no one understood what I was doing or why, and many times where I just wanted to have a group of friends, a community - other women - I could call or have coffee with who were building businesses (and maybe building a family, too). Women who had drive and ambition and big aspirations, and didn't want to give it all up if they chose to become a parent. Women who were whip-smart, multi-passionate, focused, committed to learning and improving, open to sharing and growing... and fun to hang out with!
After years of looking around, I still hadn't found the community I was looking for, but I knew there were others out there like me. I felt it. So, I created Entreprenora, in part, to help me find my tribe, whether that tribe was "in property" or not.
It doesn't matter if you're a woman in property or in tech or in retail or in services or in astrophysics. The fundamentals of what we need to do, know, and believe to succeed as founders and as people don't change, even if our industries do. And there is something uniquely powerful about women coming together with focus and drive, whatever their backgrounds.
It is that simple.
So whether you're a woman in property or any other industry, join us and see for yourself the difference community makes.
[PS - I reserve a few days each month to help women in property build financial freedom through their property businesses, and would love to help you, too. If you want some property-specific training, advice, or coaching, please email me or book a call! Let's do great things together.]
